Hey,
I'm here again. Didn't know I'd be at Leader Dogs this time a year later. lol I came here on Monday. I got Anya back that night. I know I spelled her name wrong. lol It's actually spelled Anja. I was so happy to see her. She came when I called her to me. I was so happy for that. It's cool because in my class there is three people from Wisconsin not including myself. The weather has been nice here except yesterday when it was 91 degrees. |

Hey guys,
I know I haven't updated in a while! I have good news! I'm getting Anya back in June! I'm going to leader dogs for two weeks. Then my instructor is coming to work with me at home. I'm so glad the weather is getting nicer. Tonight I'm sad because Kristie got voted off on American Idol. I thought she did really good. At least she'll be on the tour because she was in the top ten. |

Hey guys,
Wednesday was a very sad day for me. I am still crying about it. I had to give Anya back to Leader Dogs to get re-evaluated. There is a safety issue with her and I working together. I don't know if I'll get her back as a pet. If she is still has what it takes to be a Leader Dog she will then be issued to someone else. Then I'll have to get a different dog. Jessica my instructor came to get her. Before she left I gave her a hug and started crying and so did she. |

Hey,
I'm home for Thanksgiving. I came home yesterday. Tomorrow for Thanksgiving I'm staying at home. My mom's making dinner. My grandma and my aunt and cousin are coming over. It should be fun. I got my haircut today. I like how it looks. It's short. I needed a cut because I haven't had one since August. lol
Today I watched Miley on Oprah. It was really cool. Her dad was on too. I really liked the show. I wish I could have been there in the audience. After all, the show's in Chicago. Very close to Wisconsin. lol

Hey,
I know I wrote about this on myspace in my blog, but I wanted to write in here too about it. I went to the NFb of Wisconsin convention this past weekend. It was held in Janesville. Next year it'll be in Madison. Anyway, I had a fun time seeing all my friends that I don't get to see very often because we live far distance wise. On Friday night we had a talent show. I sang. I sang Carrie Underwood So Small. I love that song. I did my best considering the fact my throat was sore. Saturday night was the banquet. Sunday I went back up here to Wausau.
I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving. November has gone really fast. Pretty soon it'll be Christmas. I love Christmas because I love giving gifts to my friends and family. It's not always about recieving, it's about giving too. I love all the food and Christmas cookies! It was funny last year at convention I bidded $20 on peanut butter balls. They were really good and I couldn't finish all of them. I got my money's worth. I can't wait to listen to Accoustic Hearts of Winter again this Christmas.

Well it's Monday as you very well know. I woke up feeling sick this morning. I felt fine yesterday though. It's weird how you can feel fine and then the next day you wake up feeling crappy. I don't want to be sick because I'm going to the NFB of Wisconsin convention this weekend. It should be fun and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll get better throughout the week.

Wow! I can't believe it's November 1st already! Pretty soon it'll be Thanksgiving! lol Happy belated Halloween! I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. anyway, last night I went to a Chinese buffet. As you know I hate Chinese food and I can't believe I actually went there and ate! I had sweet and sour chicken and I actually liked it! It was so good! I also had crab regoo. For dessert I had chocolate pudding. I love that stuff! I'm so going back there again. I talked to Morgan last night. That was awesome. I had a test in JAWS last week Thursday and got a 90. That's a B. I'm so proud of myself.

Hey,
It's been a rough week for me emotionally. I'll get through it one way or another. I've been having headaches off and on throughout the week. I've been getting enough sleep I think. Although one night I was up until one o'clock in the morning. One night I only got four hours of sleep.
On a happier note I got Carnival Ride on Wednesday. It's a great CD. Carrie did a great job on it. The songs are great, but there is one in particular that I can relate to. It's called So Small. Another time I'll post the lyrics.
I'm going to visit Stephanie tomorrow. She's so excited to be having a little girl. I can't wait to see her. Speaking of babies, my other friend Tiffany had her's on September 22. I'm the God mother. She had a little girl. I really hope I'll be able to get to Oklahoma and see her. I'm going to try my hardest to make it to the baptism. I'm not sure if I'll be able to though, but I'm going to try. I might not have enough money to catch a bus down there. Unless maybe she can pay for me I don't know.

I wouldn't be that stupid to do something like that. I'm underage for heaven sake. Maybe you would do that, but not me. I'm so sick of you, Russ, Laura, and everyone else that said untruthful things about Ray. Leave him alone and cut it out. You had absolutely no right to call me a whore. | My last fews days here |

Hey guys!
Wow! I can't believe I'm leaving on Thursday! I'm going to miss it here. I'm having a vague memory because I can't remember what we did yesterday afternoon! lol On Sunday I went to a walk a thon to raise money for Leader Dogs. That was really fun. I didn't walk but it was fun sitting down and talking to others. Yesterday for lunch we went out to eat at Red Robin. They have great hamburgers. Anya and all the other dogs behaved very nicely. This morning we went and did our mystery route which means they drop you off somewhere and you have to find your way back to the training center. I'm lucky I got to be paired up with somebody. That way we could both work together and find our way back. I'm here typing this so I obviously found my way back! lol This afternoon we walked around in a park. It was so hot outside. I was glad when we came back to the school to be in the air conditioning! Tomorrow we sign our contracts and have our exit interviews and pack.
I leave for the airport at 5:45! But maybe I'll sleep on the way to Detroit because it takes an hour to get there! lol I've enjoyed my time here. |

Hey guys,
I haven't posted for a couple days because the internet was down for a day. On Wednesday we went to Detroit. It took us an hour to get there from Rochester. We went on the people mover which is like the subway that you'd see in New York and such other places except it's not underground. I enjoyed that. We also worked on stairs. I forgot what we did yesterday morning, but in the afternoon we went to a town called Royal Oak and walked in a route that was in the shape of a square because it had a lot of right cutbacks. Anya is doing great. Today we went to Target this morning and we just got back from walking on a bike path. That was fun.
Tonight were going to do night travel.
The students that had previous dogs left today. I'm going to miss them and everyone else when I leave on Thursday. This month really went by fast. It seems like I just got here. |

Hey guys,
Well I have some bad news. Jess won't be coming back for three weeks. I'm sad because I won't be able to say goodbye to her in person. I guess I'll have to do it over email, but it's not the same. I'm going to really miss Leader Dogs. I'm having loads of fun and I've made a lot of new friends in the process.
We went to the mall this afternoon. I didn't buy anything, but I guess were going to come back there so we will get an opportunity to buy something.
Anya did very well on the stairs and elevator. I won't use escalators but I tried them with her anyway and she did great. There not very safe to use with a dog so I'm glad I don't use them.
I'm not sure what were doing tomorrow, but I'll try to post. |

We haven't done any new things lately, but tomorrow were going to the mall so I'll post then. Tonight we had a lecture on country travel and feeding. I found out where Anya's puppy raisers came from and they aren't going to be able to make it to puppy night tomorrow. So they sent me in the mail pictures of her when she was a puppy! They are so cute! I also got a bone. I'm going to contact them and tell them thanks for sending that stuff and let them know how we are doing. |

Yesterday morning we went downtown and walked the P route. It's actually in the shape of a letter P. Then in the afternoon we got our pictures taken with our dogs for our ID. I went and saw the vet and Anya is doing great. She's really healthy. Today we went to a store called meyer's. It's like a super wal-mart because it has everything. In the afternoon we went to a different town called Royal Oak. We crossed over railroad tracks. That was fun.

Hey Guys!
What's up? It's been a while since I have posted in here because the internet was down. I feel so bad because Jessica my instructor broke her foot and she will be out for the rest of the week. So we have different instructors working with us until she returns.
Today I didn't go into town this morning because I had to go to the doctor. But in the afternoon I went into town and we did a route with different kinds of crossings.
Yesterday we doubled up and in the morning we walked a long route and in the afternoon we went to starbucks and did some store work in a pharmacy. Anya did a great job.
On Saturday we went to the park in the afternoon. Anya did a great job too. There were some bikers and roller bladers, but she didn't pay attention to them.
I'm tired so I'm going to close for now. More later. |

I got my dog yesterday! She is so sweet. She is a yellow lab and her name is Anaja. She was donated to Leader Dogs from Norway. I fell in love with her the moment i met her. I know that we will be a successful working team for years to come!
I don't want anything to ever happen to her. |

| My First Couple Days Of Training |

Hey Guys,
I know it's been forever since I have written in here. I am here at Leader Dogs for the Blind. For those of you who don't know that's in Rochester Michigan. I arrived here on June 3rd. The only bad thing about my first day was when I flew into the Detroit airport, one of my bag of luggage was missing. So I had to go without some of things for a day. I was kind of scared because when I have flown in the past I had never lost my luggage before.
It was about a 45 minute drive to the school from the airport. When I arrived we had to get our room keys from the house mothers in order to get into our rooms. We also got the controls to our TV. My room and all the other rooms have a mini fridge, a tv, a talking alarm clock, and a four track tape player. There is also a tie down chair for your dog. Also for our dogs we were given a dog dish with there grooming supplies and two audio cd's to listen to. Hanging up on the hook on the hall was our used harness and we will recieve a new one later on in the training. I forgot to mention that the rooms also had a bathroom and shower.
We have to get up at six o'clock in the morning. Breakfast is at seven-thirty. Lunch is at noon and supper is at dinner. Between those times we are doing work with the dogs or taking them out to go to the bathroom.
The next day we had a welcome lecture. In the afternoon our instructors met with us one on one and we did Juno work and we had talked about what kind of dog we wanted. In the evening we had another lecture about putting the harness and leash on the dogs. We actually got to try it with stuffed dogs.
Today we did some work at the downtown training center. We did more Juno work and we also did leash correction work. Tommorrow is the day that we all can't wait for! It's the day we get our dogs! I'll update on Thursday with what dog I get and how the first day with my dog goes. |

Hey guys!
I haven't written in here in a while! lol I had a great Christmas. Well I was kind of sad too because my friend Stephanie Eickstedt passed away. I got really close to her because she was in the hospital the same time as I was because we were both born premature. She was 19. She had a seizure. And the weird thing is, she never had those before. They are still investigating her death. Before Christmas I got together with one of my best friends. We exchanged Christmas presents and went out to lunch and to the mall in Fond Du Lac! I'm so happy! Hope had her baby girl today! And Patrick fessed up to the whole father thing! He told them the truth and what he did to pay off Hope's doctor! Bo was so happy today it looked like he was crying to me! Well that's all for now! Sweet nibblets! lol |

Hey! I can't believe Hope! As much as I dislike Shawn for working with Ej today I had a reason to like him. he knows his father is innocent and he blamed him for a lot of things in the past but he truly knows in his heart that his father is not lying and Patrick is. he tried telling his mother that and would she listen? She went over to the police station and told him that it was over and that she can't be on the ride with him anymore. Trust me when she finds out that Patrick is lying and her husband was right all along she's going to have a lot of making up to do! Go Shawn! He was right in my eyes today. I just wish other people would see what Shawn sees in his father, but no, they are just out to get an innocent man! At least John believes that EJ did it now they just have to convince the stupid Salem Police Department! I'm sorry but I don't like Abe. He's getting on my nerves with his stupid temper! Okay enough of my rambling! |
